We always recommend dry cleaning for best results, but here are some easy at-home care tips for your Daiele silk pieces:Lukewarm Water Washing: Always use lukewarm water as hot water can weaken silk fabric, causing shrinkage and loss of gloss.Hand Washing Preferred: Gently swirl the silk fabric in the water and avoid scrubbing.Gentle Detergent: Use a very mild detergent designed for delicate/silk fabrics.Machine Washing (If Necessary): Use a gentle/silk cycle and place the silk item in a mesh laundry bag for extra protection.Avoid Wringing or Twisting: Gently squeeze out water instead.Avoid Tumble Dry: Lay the garment flat on a towel to dry.Don't bleach.Avoid direct sunlight: Dry silk fabric in the shade.
Dealing with wrinkles in silk requires a gentle approach to preserve its smooth finish:Avoid High Heat: When ironing silk, use the lowest heat setting and place a cloth between the iron and the silk fabric to protect it.Steam with Care: A steamer can gently remove wrinkles without direct contact.
